Rants

I am going to start blogging again, but the content of most of them to begin with are rants.  I am also going to pass on some things I have learned in business just because I can.  I am not even going to charge you for it.  Nice guy huh?

Anyway, see lately I have been really fed up with Yahoo 360 or in actuality it’s bloggers, or some of them.  I don’t just stick to my friends list you see.  I have been popping all over.  I read blog comments and go to the blogs of the people who sound intellectual.  Key words here are “sound intellectual”.  Lord have mercy people!  There are some real whack jobs out here with a license to blog and say some really stupid garbage.

So today’s blog ‘slash’ rant is on FAT CHICKS.  I assume that several people reading this may instantly remove me from their favorites, or drop me from a friends list at this point, without reading further.  That’s all well and good.  For you others, let me continue…

When I mention “Fat Chicks” I don’t mean the average overweight girl who is just living her life, no.  I mean the ones who call them selves fat, in the midst of bitching about he rest of the world who has done them wrong.  Now I can call them fat chicks, because THEY call themselves fat, and well quite frankly they are chicks.  If anything in this blog may offend you, it should only be my use of the word “chick”.  The word “chick” seems to offend some ladies out there.  Oh well, it’s my word for broads and I will continue to use it.  I make few apologies.

People who are overweight are not “fat”.  At least not in MY book.  Calling someone FAT is like calling a bum a “BUM”.  They know they are bums, but using that word just makes them feel like dirt.  So don’t do it, you condescending ass!  So there you have it, I am talking about the ones who blame their lot in life on their weight, and in the same breath have the gall to say F-YOU to anyone who says: “well do something about it”.

Same goes for guys who do the exact same thing.  “I can’t find a woman worth my time, I suck and life is worthless… all cause they judge me and my weight!”  Pull up your pants Buster Brown!  You can’t find a woman who will accept you?  Take that as a blessing that you are telling the difference.  Do you really want someone who is that shallow?  No, you don’t.

One of the things we have in life is free will.  Chances are if you are reading this, you are in the USA and DO have freedoms.  I am not talking about Jun al Quenna from Oman who feels trapped by her burkha, no.  You have the opportunity to do whatever you want in life.  Yes you do.  YES.  YES you do, dammit!  You hear success stories every day of people pulling themselves out of the rubble of their lives and making a change.  Why them and not you?  What are you waiting on?  The Rapture?

So like I was saying.  Stop with the whining about your lot in life or that someone thinks you are overweight.  If you are overweight, you are overweight, who cares?  Seriously?  I know it is an ego blow to have to handle and deal with – but face it, anything worth having is worth fighting for.  I don’t know many wars that were won by whining about it (unless you are Jane Fonda).

I know this lacks a little of humor, and that the people I am directing this at probably will not even see it.  But I had to begin the purging process somewhere.
