Victims

Children are the ultimate victims, and the hardest to release from wrong-doing. Don’t follow me? Maybe you will after you see it from my point of view.
Imagine if you will a horror or sci-fi movie where killer zombies for any reason are running rampant on the Earth. This is a bad deal. All I know about zombies and the undead point to the simple fact that they like to eat the living flesh of us “normal” humans. Strike that, they don’t just like it – they NEED it to “survive”.
Problem number two in the scenario is that when you are playing the roll of cattle for them, and they munch on you, they infect you with their zombie-mojo and turn you into one of them. The exact time frame for their “turning” is still open for discussion, but I digress.
Well you KNOW that some of those being fed upon will be harmless and defenseless children, even babies. That sucks.
So how do you defeat these walking undead? They portray in the movies that you have to destroy their brains. Funny how in order to keep them from eating yours, you must remove theirs. So you go on a rampant spree of your own shooting and defiling any zombies you come across. You do it for the sake of all mankind. You do it out of self-preservation. Can’t you see it? What used to be Mr. Jenkins is coming at you with a drooling jaw ready to eat your melon, when you unload a full clip into his head and upper body. You drop him. It feels good.
Okay well what about the babies? How can you shoot them in the head? What do you need preserving from? They look at you hungrily, but they have no teeth. Now that they are undead, they will not continue to grow or age. They are toothless zombie babies, with no methods of hurting you. Yet you know they are a blight on all of humanity.
See… victims. They are victim of the zombies. And now they are going to be in double the trouble, cause now you have to disinfect your neighborhood of the undead threat. It sucks all around.
I’m just saying.
