Crunch

Are you feeling the crunch? With the US Dollar falling to record lows, I was just wondering if you are feeling any of the effects from the decline. Oil is shooting up higher and higher and gold is sky rocketing too! (Almost time to knock off the old man and take his caps and crowns.) I guess if you are into buying jewelry or if you wear a grill (gangsta waffle irons) then you would feel the increase in precious metals… but other wise can you tell?
I’ll tell you I sure hear a lot about it. I work with several people online who do not live in the US. We’re talking Russia, South Africa, the UK and Sweden just to name a few. They all get paid in USD – THEY feel the crunch for sure! Its an automatic pay decrease for them – whereas I’m still only paying over a buck fiddy for a bag of circus peanuts. I’m not complaining yet.
I tell you, now is the time to pay off our national debts. Just print a shit load of money and pay it all back now while its worth so little. No no no creditor, we owe you USD – not adjusted prices. Hmmm I wish I had bought a bunch of Euros and crap before – I could have paid off all the credit cards quick by cashing it in now! Oh well.
So I was talking to one of my “associates” just a few hours ago and he was telling me he was depressed over work… and that the Dollar is declining still. I feel bad for the guy. He said, and I quote: “your bushy man should do something about that”. Now he has never seen my picture – so I assume he is not saying I am bushy in a hairy sense… and I am also assuming that “bushy man” is actually his term for President Bush. “Bushy Man?” he followed that up by adding: “people here are sure that US govmnt drops it on purpose”. I don’t understand economics enough to follow that logic – I’m not sure why we would devalue the Dollar… regardless, moving on…
