Wisdom of Conan the Barbarian

December 2, 2008 by Douglas · Leave a Comment

“Crom! I’ve never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad.  Why we fought, or why we died. No. All that matters is that two stood against many. That’s what’s important. Valor pleases you, Crom, so grant me one request. Grant me revenge. And if you do not listen, then the hell with you!”
~ Conan Praying to Crom

I wonder if Cromians rode around the wild landscapes that were scattered in the world of Conan, on bicycles and preaching the Word of Crom.  I can’t see them huddled in airports with shaved heads either.

Live long and prosper, Conan.
